Hi there! Sorry about the long wait. On with the show!
1. Been having kinda a MST3K kick lately, much to Danielle's annoyance. My favorite episode so far has been Space Mutiny.
2. Last week, Rocky and I went to see the movie Ninja Assassin. Bad, cheesy action flicks can be turned into kickass awesome movies when you go in with low expectations, srsly. Some good things about it: 1. The hero was kick ass (infact i think there is a math equation out there somewhere that says the more badass the main character in a ninja movie is, the less of a plot to the movie there is). 2. The fight scenes were beautifully coriographed. 3. I also like the filmmakers did't make everyone white and American, which also brings me to the 4th reason. 4. the character of Mika, yeah she wasn't as badass or kickass as any of the other characters in this movie, but she gets an A for effort, i think they chose to play her as member of the audience, that before is like: "yeah Ninjas are awesome!" and then encounters the real deal and deals with the events as a realistic person would. Also ship her and the main character. Oh and the #5 good point about Ninja Assassin, JMStravinstky was one half of the script writing team for this movie, which finding that out gave me a geekgasm.
3. Rocky is getting me the Team EJO t-shirt as seen and is being sold on the Hijinks Insues webcomic. I'm betting money that at next year's ComicCon or DragonCon, people are going to be walking around wearing that shirt, and maybe make their own versions of Team Edward, like the Elric version, Pepeloo Tirotsky the 3, or Scissorhands, cause any Edward is better than Edward Cullen.
4. Sunday night, i was at a Christmas party with Rocky, hosted by the writers' group, and somewhere in the conversation we were talking about BSG, and i mentioned that the series takes alot of it's influence from the movie Blade Runner, and besides getting EJO as Adama, and getting the actor who played Tyrel as the Defense Minister in the Caprica pilot, i started to wonder aloud: why didn't the crew spring to get more Blade Runner Alumni. And the hampster in my brain is setting the wheel on fire, but mellowed when i remembered they would not be able to get Harrison Ford. And then my brain calculated: "He would have to be a perminent cast member, he just shows up for one episode. So here is my take on the Harrison Ford guest apperance if i was on the writing staff of BSG: Opens in the Galactica morgue, where you see Adama standing over a covered corpse on the table, and then Harrison Ford comes into view and says: "Are you going to go to the funeral?" and through out the episode, Adama and Harrison Ford's character are talking and their conversations set up that they use to be war buddies, and there are the obvious Blade Runner references sprinkled into them, such as: Harrison Ford's character: "I use to be able to fold a piece of paper into a unicorn." And then at then end of the episode, at the funeral that was set, it's fully military service funeral, and it's revealed that Harrison Ford's character has been dead before the episode began, and the last conversation that Adama has with him before the episode ends is about his relationship with Roslin, and Harrison Ford's character says: "it's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does." And then they jetison the coffin into space.
5. I descided to add a new plot element to ACC, the Groqescary, people who a born with mutations, but they are not the standard mutations, they are mutations that horrify the mass and they are cloistered away from society, but they bare no ill will from the society for what they did to them. One of them that i've already developed is Lucindia, a woman who was born without eyes on her face, but they are on her sholders.
6. I got the 3rd season of BSG for Rocky and i'm afraid of what his reaction is going to be when he finds out that Tigh, Anders, Tyrol, and Tory are 4 of the Final 5 cylons.

YAYZ! 100th post! Anyway, onward hoe!
Angery that Dollhouse was canceled.
In the middle the second season of Supernatual (or as Danielle likes to refer to them as "Cute Boys").
Danielle also found out this week the baby's gender, it's a boy!
Watched the Avatar (not the Last Airbender) trailer monday, watching House, and ... whaoh.
Been enjoying my new job at O'Charley's.
Got Rocky hooked on Balttlestar Galactica, and along with all thing BSG, i rescently read the latest epic fic by
lls_mutant Space Between Us, and man was it awesome. Now as much as i enjoyed the canon ending, i still have a few hang ups about it, like many, and this fic was the antidote for it, although the only hang up i had about the fic was that 2 of my favorite characters, Helo and Athena, were killed off, but overall as a whole the fic was awesome.
